EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Apr 18: The Jammu Club today organized registration camp under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana for staff members of the Club.
On the occasion, Gaurav Gupta, Secretary and other members of the Club were also present.
Pertinent to mention here that the camp was arranged by Gaurav Gupta, Secretary Jammu Club with the support of Dr Raghav Langar, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, who is the Vice President of the Club.
Speaking on the occasion, Gaurav Gupta said that this registration has been organized with a view to cover the entire staff of Jammu Club under the Central Government’s flagship scheme Ayushman Bharat. He said that the Ayushman scheme is proving to be a boon for people of Jammu and Kashmir as it has provided healthcare facilities to the individual beneficiaries who were earlier not able to afford the costly treatments due to economic constraints but now can avail free health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh. He asserted that Ayushman Bharat is one of the revolutionary steps of New India and it is playing an important role in saving the life of an ordinary person.
“India’s common people couldn’t avail the best health infrastructure and remained devoid of quality healthcare services. But with Ayushman Bharat, people are now able to avail best treatment even in their non residing states,” the Secretary said, adding that an eligible patient from any state implementing PMJAY can avail of cashless treatment anywhere in India, in any empanelled hospital.
The Secretary of the Club informed that many more such camps will be organized in near future for the welfare of Members as well as staff of the Club. He also appealed to the staff members who have not yet enroll themselves under this Central Government’s flagship scheme to register themselves at the earliest.
The Executive Members of Jammu Club who were present during the camp include Prof Aekta Gupta, Er Tania Mahajan, Indu Puri, Er Ashok Gandotra, Er Ajay Sabharwal, Er Vikram Sharma and Ashwani Gupta.
