| No power, water bring Batote residents on highway | | |

JAMMU, Apr 18: Residents of Batote area today protested against the Power Development Department (PDD) and Jal Shakti department for their failure to provide basic facilities like water and power to the residents of the area.
The protesters blocked the Jammu-Srinagar national highway and the same led to huge traffic jam on the highway. The protesters raised slogans against the officers of the two line departments and accused them of pushing the people to wall. They demanded action from the people at helm against the officers of PDD and Jal Shakti. |
