Shiv Sena seeks Rs 5000 as monthly DA for common masses
4/18/2022 11:10:50 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Apr 18: The ignorant attitude of the centre government towards inflation indicates that the people will have to inculcate the habit of living with inflation, like the Covid epidemic, inflation will also last a long time this was stated by Shiv Sena president UT J&K Manish Sahni
The party activists assembled in front of Party Jammu office under the leadership of state president, Manish Sahni, demanded Rs 5000 as monthly DA for common masses.
Talking to reporters, Sahni said the lower and middle class families are feeling the inflation pinch more than anyone else.
Constant price rise is hitting common man where it hurts the most and the administration has failed to take meaningful steps to curb the trend.
Manish Sahni demanded that the Central Government, which is proving unsuccessful in getting rid of inflation, should release Dearness Allowance on every month as a relief to the common masses.
India has reached the 101st position in the global hunger index. What to eat, what to drink, every item be it pulses, rice, flour and oil, the prices of basic facilities like milk, vegetables, medicine, treatment, education have increased quadruple rapidly day by day, he added.
“Sahni said that inflation has become a major socio-economic incurable problem. The government also had no formula to control it. The continuous fall in the Indian currency, economic slowdown, unemployment and inflation has pushed the public into deep despair,”
He further said that the consumer confidence survey of the Reserve Bank of India has also come out with, consumer confidence has come down to the lowest level ever. Sahni said that it seems that like Covid, the inflation epidemic is also going to prolong.
Therefore, Shivsena appeals to the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, to provide relief to every family by releasing Rs 5000 as monthly dearness allowance.
On this occasion President Women's Wing Meenakshi Chhibber, General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, GI Singh, Chairman Rakesh Gupta and many others were present.
