JAMMU, Apr 24: Police have arrested a woman and solved a theft case in Pacca Danga area here.
Police on Sunday said that on Saturday a complaint was lodged in Police Post Panjtirthi wherein the complainant Vikrant Sharma claimed that a radio equipment and some other gadgets costing in lakhs were stolen from Common Transmission Infrastructure, Radio Station, Panjtirthi.
"A case was registered and investigation started," police added.
They said that during the course of investigation, one lady namely Mohini, resident of Rajeev Nagar, Narwal By Pass, Jammu was rounded up.
When questioned, the lady spill beans and admitted that she had stolen the equipments.
On her disclosure the radio equipment was recovered while the investigation of the case is in progress. |
