| Online Poster Making Competition organized by Department of Civil Engineering | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 13: Department of Civil Engineering in association with Institution Innovation Council (IIC) at Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu hosted an Online Poster Making Competition on theme “Save The Mother Earth” in connection with Earth Day. The aim and objective of Earth Day’s celebration is to create mass awareness among the budding engineers to know that how one can protect the planet from things like pollution and deforestation and making our world a happier, healthier place to live. Dinesh Gupta, Dean (Academics) (YCET) appreciated the efforts of Civil Engineering department for organizing such event which was highly fruitful and successful. He also thanked the participants for sharing knowledge, utilising valuable time and Innovative ideas.
During the competition 30 students participated and this competition was Inter semester of civil engineering branch. Anjali Manhas from 3rd Semester secured 1st position. 2nd position was bagged by Rahul Datta of 3rd semester. Free career counselling session was also organized. |
