| Rahul cremated amid protests | | |

Jammu, May 13: A Kashmiri Pandit killed by militants on Thursday in Budgam district was cremated at his native place in Bantalab locality here on Friday.
Rahul Bhat, a government employee in the Jammu and Kashmir administration, was shot dead inside his office.
His mortal remains reached on Friday at Durga Nagar here. His wife and daughter accompanied the body from Kashmir.
Members from the Kashmiri Pandit community thronged the cremation site to pay their last respect. Many Kashmiri Pandits blocked the road and staged protests against the killing and slammed the Jammu and Kashmir government and Centre for failing to provide security to the Pandit youths employed under the Prime Minister’s package in Kashmir. |
