BHADERWAH, May 13: Inter School Zone Level Sports Competition for under 14, 17 and 19 Boys in Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Chess, Carrom, Badminton, Cricket, Athletics, Swimming, Painting was today organized by Department of Youth Service and Sports Doda here at HSS Berreru (Bhaderwah).
The event was organised as per annual calendar of activities approved by the Director Youth Services and Sports JK UT.
The tournament was inaugurated by the school Principal Mushtaq Ahmed as the chief guest in presence of ZPEO Bhalla Pritam Singh & the sports staff of Zone Bhalla. In the inaugural function Chief Guest highlighted the importance of games & Sports.
About 258 students participated in the competitions held for different age groups and disciplines.
In the Volley Ball matches for U/17, High School Seri beat HSS Malothi by 2-1 sets, and U/14 , HSS Berreru beat MS Sindra by 2-0 sets.
In Kabaddi U/17, HS Gajoth beat HS Dugli by 04 points and in Kho-Kho U/17, HSS Malothi beat HSS Bererru by 01 points.
In Kabaddi U/14, GMS Gutasa beat GMS Gouda by 02 points while in Kho-Kho U/14, GMS Gouda beat HSS Bererru by 2 points. |
