KISHTWAR, May 13: Inter-school tournament commenced today across six zones of Kishtwar district under the aegis of Youth Services and Sports Kishtwar. The tournament would witness Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Carrom, Chess, Table tennis, Speed ball, Rope skipping, football, Badminton, Yoga, Wrestling and Cricket competitions and will continue till May 25, 2022 said DYSSO Kharati Lal Sharma after declaring the Kishtwar Zone tournament open here on Chowgan grounds.
Similar events were also held in Drabshalla, Inderwal, Nagseni, Marwah and Padder zones under the supervision of I/c ZPEOs Kalash Kumar, Sanjay Sharma, Suresh Parihar, Om Parkash and Ram Loki, respectively. At zone Drabshalla the inter school tournament was inaugurated by ZEO Suresh Kumar in presence of Kalash Kumar I/c ZPEO. After the inaugural function, the Chief Guest along with In-charge ZPEO Ravi Kumar interacted with the students. |
