5/16/2022 11:12:55 PM

Early Times Report

Srinagar, May 16: Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party President Ravinder Raina on Monday said that Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha should visit every colony inhabited by Kashmiri Pandits.
Talking to Early Times Raina said, “LG Manoj Sinha should visit all the Kashmiri Pandit colonies, including Sheikhpura Budgam, Vessu and other areas to interact with them. He should start interaction outreach and I hope he will take this step.”
“We have to finish this Pakistan sponsored terrorism. The atrocities committed by terrorists are murdering humanity in Kashmir. I had a detailed discussion with LG Sahib in Srinagar and all possible steps will be taken to protect innocent lives,” Raina said.
He termed use of force on KP protesters as unjustified. “Friends and relatives of late Rahul Bhat were enraged due to his cold blooded murder. Their anger was justified.”
Raina said, “BJP is committed to development of J&K and difference is visible on the ground. Lal Chowk which used to remain shut for 11 months in a year due to shutdowns and stone-pelting hasn’t witnessed any shutdown after August 5, 2019.”
He said that he visited the house of policeman, Riyaz Ahmad Thakur who was killed by terrorists on May 13 at Gatwara in Pulwama district.
He said, “Riyaz Thakur laid down his life for the safeguard of the country and it is our duty to look after his family including children”.
Raina said, “Our neighboring country does not want the people of Kashmir to live peacefully and their children prosper”.
“Terrorists want bloodshed in Kashmir to continue and these killings are their own conspiracies, '' Raina said and added “these people are enemies of peace and humanity”.
