MHA Framing New Policy
5/19/2022 12:27:00 AM

To foil the evil designs of terrorists, Ministry of Home Affairs, is devising a comprehensive policy to protect minorities living in Kashmir.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a high level security meeting in New Delhi on Tuesday and directed the security forces to launch coordinated operations against the terrorists.
The recent targeted killings in Kashmir have once again brought to fore the nefarious designs of the Pakistan sponsored terrorists. They don’t want anyone, especially minorities, to live in peace in Kashmir. After the terrorists killed Kashmir Pandit government employee, Rahul Bhat, J&K administration has shifted the KP employees in Kashmir to secure places and the decision has been taken not to post any employees outside district headquarters. LG Manoj Sinha has constituted a special cell at the Secretariat to look into grievances of the KP employees.
The cell will coordinate with district administration and other departments to resolve all issues and an Additional Secretary rank officer has been made a nodal officer to look into the issues of the minorities in J&K.
To tackle the ultras, Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, has passed clear cut instructions to the security forces to launch coordinated operations like the ones that were undertaken in November-December 2021. The security forces along with the other central police agencies had initiated the coordinated operations against the terrorists when the members of minority community and non-local labourers were killed in selective attacks.
The steps being taken by the government are an indication that the security forces have been directed to launch a final assault against the ultras and their supporters so that they don’t succeed in their evil designs. The Centre has taken a serious note of the happenings in Kashmir and has given freehand to the security forces to act against the terrorists and their sympathizers in the Valley. The message is clear that no innocent killings will be tolerated and whosoever indulges in such an act will have to pay a heavy price for it.
Kashmiri Pandit employees are being assured that no one will be allowed to harm them and all possible steps will be taken to protect them.
