| District admin orders temporary closure of roads to facilitate execution of works | | |

UDHAMPUR, May 20: To carry out Devika Sewerage Project works effectively and expeditiously, the district administration Udhampur today ordered closure of atleast three roads (stretches) for different periods.
The road from Ice factory (TV Showroom) to Pittan Warh shall remain closed from May 21, to May 23, 2022.
Similarly the road stretch from DFO Office to Sailain Talab Chowk would remain closed from May 22 to May 25, 2022 and Sailain Talab to Venus Chowk from May 26 to May 29, 2022 to facilitate hassle free working by the contractors.
The public has been requested to choose alternative roads as per their convenience during the days mentioned above.
The Executing agencies have been advised to make efficient utilization of these days and ensure completion of the work in a fixed time frame.
"The SHO, Udhampur, shall ensure strict compliance of the order and shall deploy the necessary manpower for its strict implementation on daily basis w.e.f. 21-05-2022 to 23-05-2022" the order reads. |
