Sharma said the allocation of funds in schemes like scholarships for minority students was more during the Modi Government than the previous UPA regime.

He also stated that "We are working for the welfare of minorities without any political exploitation and without beating any drums.
Munish Khajuria said that every welfare scheme launched by the Modi Government in the last 8 years consists of every segment and minorities too constitute a major chunk in that. He said we are a party with a difference and we are not working on hollow slogans. We believe in hard work and we adopt a man to man approach policy so that our mission of Antyodaya can be achieved. He also stated that in these last 8 years the nation witnessed major development with regard to everything.
