Failed robbery attempt at JK Bank Gundna, robbers use gas cutters, set building on fire | | | Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report
Jammu, June 5: In a failed attempt, the robbers in Gundna area of Doda District use gas cutters and other equipments to carry out the bank robbery, but failed in its mission and in the meantime while carrying out the robbery, the bank building caught fire forcing the robbers to flee from the spot. As per the details available with Early Times, three unidentified persons caught on CCTV footage in Gundna area while they were on way to carry out the Bollywood type robbery at local J&K Bank branch. Senior police officials told the Early Times that three unidentified persons carrying gas cutters and other equipments could be seen in the video added that their indenture are being ascertained. Police said that while trying to break the cash chest with gas cutter, the documents kept around suddenly caught fire as a result of which these three persons escape from the spot with failed attempt. Due to the fire caused by the Gas cutter, all the documents and the private building that hoist the bank branch gutted in the incident, however the robbers fail to loot any cash from the chest. Police said that they have registered an FIR and had started identification process of the three suspects caught on CCTV Cameras. |
