SRINAGAR, June 12: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari said on Sunday if the youth of Jammu and Kashmir are provided equal opportunities they can certainly make the nation proud.
Speaking during a keynote address at the Jammu and Kashmir International Film Festival held in Pune, Bukhari said that the youth of Jammu and Kashmir is strong willed and determined to make a positive change. Stating that if provided with equal opportunities, they can make the nation proud,
In a statement, Bukhari lauded the efforts of Pune-based NGO, Sarhad for organising the maiden event.
He said that Sarhad’s mission of educating Kashmiris and providing them with a platform to showcase their talent is a noble cause as the youth of J&K is talented, dedicated and hardworking.
He said that the youth of Jammu and Kashmir possess the urge and energy to make a mark in different fields however due to the lack of a viable platform they are robbed of equal opportunities to prove their mettle.
He stressed on the need to provide the youth with a viable platform and a conducive atmosphere to hone their skills.Emphasising the need of recognising the talent, Bukhari lauded the efforts of organisers for bringing together artists from Jammu and Kashmir on a common platform.
