Jammu and Kashmir Sikh United Front expresses concern over tension in country | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 12: An emergency meeting of various Sikh organization of Jammu and Kashmir Sikh United Front was organized under the chairmanship of S. Sudarshan Singh Wazir Chairman of JK Sikh United Front. In the meeting the present scenario of the country was discussed and anxiety was felt over the issues creating communal tensions in the country after blasphemy statements by Nupur Sharma and Naveen Kumar Jindal. The Front appealed the Prime Minister Narinder Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to take stern action against the miscreants for their offensive statements and it also appealed to all the Indian citizens above religion to maintain communal harmony and brother hood to give befitting reply to the nefarious design who want to disturb the peace and tranqulity of the country. The Forum said that by creating such situations the reputation of the country in the world is tainted which do not suit to a big democracy like India. Due to these statements India is facing a major diplomatic outrage from Muslim countries. Moreover it will worsen the trade relations with Arab countries as Indian already facing economic crises. |
