Jammu, July 18: Govt. Degree College Akhnoor celebrates Rutt Raade festival and preparations of Minjaraans (Sakolade) revealing Dogra culture during the holy month of sawan(shravan). The event was organized by Department of Dogri under the supervision of worthy principal .Prof.Surinder Singh Parihar.Various students participated enthusiastically in the celebration and they made delicious Dogra cuisine(pakwan) like Chille, Kiyur, Rutt, Suchian, Malpude, Burfi, Halwa, Babru, Allu, Sewian etc.
Principal Prof. Surinder Singh Parihar appreciated the efforts made by the students. He emphasized that such celebrations shall give a boost to the upliftment of Dogra culture and it’s sustainity.
Prof. Ravi, Prof. Inderveer Chanayal, Prof. Neeru Dhalla, Dr.Rashmi Sharma and others staff members were present in the celebration of Rutt Raade festival. |
