Ashok Bhagat holds series of public meetings in Marh Constituency | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 9: Congress senior leader Ashok Bhagat Tuesday organized series of public meetings in villages Chanu Chak, Burj, Halqua, Kherian and Parhladpur of Marh Constituency today. These meetings are being organised in villages & panchayat levels to discuss the issues and problems of workers which require immediate attention of the authorities. Speaking on the occasion, Bhagat asked workers to be alert and careful to the mis-campaign resorted against Congress party by some vested interests.He said Congress has always ensured representation of above in the organization and our party`s victory is victory of every one of us, therefore, each one of us has to work very hard. Our workers are talented and working hard and all problerms identified by the grass root workers are to be recognized, addressed to ensure strengthening of workers. Bhagat launching a scathing attack on the BJP accusing the ruling party at the Centre of destroying democratic, ethnic and social fabric of the nation. He said India was the only robustly functioning and flourishing democracy in South Asian region, thanks to the magnanimous role played by the Congress in the 70 years of history of the nation. He said that it is for the first time in the country that a government which indulges in such lies has come to power. BJP is not saying anything other than lies," he said. Aggrieved people pray that this government goes soon and also appeal to the people to remove it whenever they get the chance to do so". Bhagat claimed that with each passing day it's becoming clear that BJP leaders from Jammu region have not been able to give a proper feedback to the policy makers sitting in New Delhi. It seems that the leaders of J&K BJP have made their national leaders believe that all is well in Jammu and there is nothing to worry about. |
