Jammu, May 22: The Mata Kheer Bhawani Ji Yatra Welfare Society organized a meeting with Deputy Commissioner Devender Singh Bahu, ACR Dr Reyaz Ahmad, relief organizations, and other officials to discuss the preparations for the upcoming yatra on May 28, 2023. The society expressed gratitude and appreciation for the prompt response and actions taken by the RRCM and his team regarding the guidelines discussed during the meeting with the Divisional Commissioner Jammu on May 11, 2023, regarding the Tulmulla Yatra. The RRCM has assigned duties and responsibilities to officials and emphasized the importance of implementing the decisions made during the meeting. Deputy Commissioner Relief Sh Devender Singh Bahu and ACR Dr Reyaz Ahmad provided detailed information about the preparations and steps taken by the department for the yatra. The meeting attendees expressed satisfaction and happiness with the arrangements. Dr Reyaz Ahmad mentioned that the department has considered and incorporated suggestions from various committees. All necessary arrangements have been made, and the concerned agencies and departments have been requested to provide logistical support and cooperation. Zonal officers, camp commandants, and department staff will provide assistance to the yatris, and their contact details and bus departure locations have been shared. Buses will be available at 5 am at Jagti, Purkhoo, Buta Nagar, Muthi, Nagrota, Sharika Vihar, Anand Nagar, Tillo Talab, Pooni chak, Sangtra Morh, Sanjeevni Kendra Talab Tillo, Bantalab Burnai, Roop Nagar, Subash Nagar, Kutha, Udhampur, Relief Head office canal. Refreshments will be provided to the yatris, and registration for free buses will remain open until May 25, 2023. MKBJYWS appeals to all yatris to maintain discipline, a peaceful atmosphere, and cooperate during the journey to Tulmulla, following the guidelines of the Relief department. The yatra will commence at 6 am from Nagrota for Tulmulla Kashmir. DC Ramban, in association with MKBJYWS, has arranged for lunch at Ramban, and yatris are requested to have lunch there. MKBJYWS volunteers will be available to provide assistance during the yatra. Several individuals, including Pintoo Ji, M K Yogi VKS Gen Secretary, B B Bhat, President Nagdandhi, B L Dhar Kashi Bub Ashram President, representatives from Tikker, Mazgam, Logripora, Devsar, social workers, and political representatives, shared their thoughts during the occasion. |
