Jammu, May 22: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Jammu has filed a case against TSO Ab. Majid Wani and Assistant Director Ghar Singh from the FCS&CA Department Kishtwar for alleged misappropriation of carriage charges related to ration items. The case was registered following a complaint lodged by Manzoor Ahmad, accusing the officers and officials of the CA&PD Department in Marwah, Kishtwar of misappropriating carriage charges for food grains transported from Food store Guzar to Food store Inshan and Food store Choidraman during the years 2014-15 and 2015-16. During the verification conducted by the ACB, it was found that the charges imposed by the concerned department were inconsistent with the actual distances traveled. Additionally, it was discovered that TSO Ab. The ACB has registered a case under relevant sections of the J&K P.C Act and RPC against TSO Ab. Majid Wani and Assistant Director Ghar Singh, who are now retired. The investigation will be conducted by the ACB Doda |
