APDAC holds joint protest rally | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 11: The All PartyAction Committee Migrant Camps today held a joint protest rally from Lane No.1 Jagti,in which a volley of People including women, joined from Jagti, TRT Nagrota, Muthi, Buta Nagar and Purkhoo, for lodging a protest against the dictatorial orders issued after thirty two years for charging of electricity charges from Camp people.The protestors warned the Govt. of J&K UT as well as to the Govt.of India to revoke this dictatorial order,as the expenses of living stand sustained in full by the Govt.of India tilldate.The protestors in thousands demanded that either this order be revoked or we the camp people be rehabilitated back in Valley for which Govt.of India has totally failed and the protestors warned that if this order is not revoked within ten days,then the Camp people will lodge again the protest and thus for any Law and Order problem rises, the Govt. shall be responsible or otherwise we camp people alongwith families will move to Valley for lodging protests at Lal Chowk.This peaceful protest however culminated near National Highway leaving behind a warning for the Govt.not to compell us turn our next protest to create any Law and Order problem for which we shall not be responsible. |
