| Constitution Day celebrations held across Kulgam | | | Early Times Report
KULGAM, Nov 27: Constitution Day was celebrated on Sunday across the district in order to honour the constitution drafters who gave the fundamental law for the nation. Preamble Reading by participants, formed the main activity during the day, wherein all departments at all levels, educational institutions across the district assembled to observe the day.
Functions were organised at District level, in Sub-division/Tehsils of the district with full fervor and enthusiasm where officers and officials deliberated on the importance of the constitution for the governance of the country.
Degree Colleges and educational institutions across the district also took part in preamble Reading and highlighted the basic principles of the constitution, role and contribution of the drafters of the constitution and paid rich tributes to them.
