CB registers FIR against Prez of fake NGO

Jammu, March 6: Crime Branch (EOW) Jammu has registered FIR against self-styled national president of fake NGO 'Yuva Shakti Jagriti Mission' and his three accomplices for fraudulently duping innocent people of Banihal and adjoining areas on pretext of opening Cancer hospital, Vidyalyas, Hostels, Laptop Agencies & other big projects for general public.
SSP Crime Jammu, Benam Tosh has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by an experienced gazetted officer to investigate case FIR No.12/2024 registered under relevant sections of law at Police Station Crime Branch ( EOW) Jammu and in-depth investigation has been started.
The booked accused have been identified as Satendra Kumar of Delhi who happened to be the national president of NGO, Bashir Ahmad Jagal of Kupwara, A/P Sidhra Jammu, Mrs. Sharda Verma & Satya Prakash Verma of Delhi.
A complaint was lodged by the victims of fraud with Crime Branch (EOW) Jammu and preliminary verification (PV) was conducted by the investigating agency during which it transpired that the self- styled national president of fake NGO Yuva Shakti Jagriti Mission and his aides duped the people of huge money on the pretext of providing big projects for general public, made several members of the fake NGO and after collecting huge money fled away from the area and went underground .As this commission was cognizable offence, FIR has been registered.
