He highlighted that the majority of electors in the UT fall within the 18-59 age group. “The high voter turnout in the 2024 general elections reflects their strong belief in democracy, which is a positive and heartening development,” he said. To accommodate Kashmiri migrant voters, special polling stations were set up at various relief camps in Delhi, Jammu, and Udhampur. Voters had the option of voting in person at these designated stations or using postal ballots. In total, 21 special polling stations were established in Jammu, one in Udhampur, and four in Delhi.
