AKHNOOR, Oct 23: Senior BJP leader and District Development Council (DDC) member, Pandit Suresh Sharma, inaugurated the blacktopping of the "Kandi Sira Chhappad" road in Panchayat Kandi, Block Maira Mandrian, at a cost of Rs 17 lakh. This project fulfills a long-standing demand of the locals.
Sharma assured that the remaining road work would be completed soon, highlighting the commitment to connecting all villages with paved roads. He also announced plans for additional roadwork in Blocks Maira Mandrian and Chowki Choura, with several new roads approved under the State Sector and NABARD projects.
The event was attended by Executive Engineer Sunil Dogra, AEE Ashish Wasin, Engineer Rakesh Sharma, and other local dignitaries. |
