Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 29: Today Puneet Mahajan BJP Health and Medical Cell Convener Jammu and kashmir met Dhananter Singh Special Secretary to the Government, Health and Medical Education Department J&K in connection with various important issues concerning the healthcare sector of Jammu & Kashmir. During the meeting, a wide range of significant matters relating to the health sector were discussed in detail. Special focus was laid on the difficulties being faced by the general public in availing quality healthcare services, particularly in remote, border, hilly, and far-flung areas where medical facilities require further strengthening and accessibility.Serious concerns regarding the smooth implementation of Ayushman Bharat were also highlighted. Issues affecting beneficiaries, empanelled hospitals, and patients requiring timely treatment were brought to notice. The challenges being faced by private hospitals, which are playing an important role in serving the people and supplementing public healthcare infrastructure, were also discussed comprehensively. In addition, emphasis was laid on improving coordination between hospitals and authorities, timely resolution of public grievances, strengthening healthcare manpower, enhancing emergency medical services, and ensuring that welfare schemes reach every deserving citizen in an efficient and transparent manner. Dhananter Singh gave a very patient and positive hearing to all the matters raised during the interaction. He appreciated the concerns highlighted in the larger public interest and assured that all genuine issues would be projected before the higher authorities for appropriate consideration and necessary action.
