APS Jammu Cantt wins Inter APS Cluster-I U-17 Girls Football Tournament

JAMMU, Apr 29: The Inter APSs Cluster -I Football Tournament for U-17 Girls hosted by Army Public School Samba, from 27 April 2026 to 29 April 2026 with enthusiastic participation from various Army Public Schools under Cluster-I. The tournament concluded on a high note after an exhilarating match between APS Jammu Cantt and APS Samba. The tournament witnessed a thrilling contest as APS Jammu Cantt displayed exceptional teamwork, determination and tactical brilliance. Both the teams displayed exceptional skill, determination and teamwork, keeping the spectators engrossed throughout the match. In a fiercely fought encounter, APS Jammu Cantt emerged victorious with a score of 2-1 and lifted the Champion's trophy. APS Samba, despite a valiant effort and spirited performance, secured the Second position and earned appreciation for their remarkable journey to the finals. APS Damana secured the third position for their commendable performance in the tournament. The threedays tournament served as a vibrant platform for young footballers to showcase their talent, discipline and sporting spirit. The participating teams exhibited resilience, coordination and a healthy competitive spirit, reflecting the true essence of sportsmanship. The tournament was conducted successfully under the able guidance of the school administration and the dedicated efforts of the organizing committee, officials and support staff. The event concluded with a Prize Distribution Ceremony, where the winners and participants were felicitated with trophies, medals and certificates. The Principal APS, Samba congratulated all the teams for their spirited performances and encouraged the players to continue striving for excellence in sports.
