Situation remained peaceful in Kashmir: Police

Srinagar, Aug 14: Police on Sunday claimed that the situation remained peaceful in the most parts of Kashmir.
A police spokesperson said that nine incidents of "stone pelting were reported from Anantnag, Shopian, Awantipora, Baramulla, Sopore and Bandipora."
Police also said that stone pelting incidents were reported from Annatnag's Kokernag, Shopian's Keegam area, Tral and Awantipora. In north Kashmir, he said, the incidents of stone pelting wetre reported from Azad Gunj Baramulla and Bomie Sopore in Baramulaa district while Nesu, Gulshan Abad and Matrigam in Bandipora district.
