DBYC pays tributes to Sarabha, Hardayal

Jammu, Nov 17: The leaders and activists of Desh Bhagat Yaadgar Committee (DBYC) organised a function at Gurudwara Chand Nagar to pay tributes and commemorate the 100th death anniversary of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha and Lala Har Dayal on his 77th death anniversary who was the founder of Ghadar Party and turned down a career in the Indian Civil Service (ICS).
A large number of participants including Committee Speakers Advocate J A Kazmi, H R Jalmaria, CPI (ML) Secretary G L Chanda, Inder Mohinder Tar Singh, Gurudwara Prabandak Committee Secretary Tar Singh and FUIW President Nirdosh Uppal were present on the occasion to describe the scarifies of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha and Lala Har Dayal.
Comrade Sukhdev Singh and retired DIG Ratinder Kour while addressing the gathering said, "Lala Har Dayal was the founded the Ghadar Party in America who died in Philadelphia on March 4, 1939. On the evening of his death, he delivered a lecture as usual where he had said 'I am in peace with all'. He gave up two Oxford scholarships and turned down a career in the Indian Civil Service to join the nationalist movement,"
