Kishtwar, Nov 25: Qaumi Ekta Week organized by Dulhasti Power Station Kishtwar concluded here on Friday. On the closing ceremony, a skit programme on environmental conservation was organised by the students of KV, DPS. Message of the skit was to conserve and preserve our environment for the future generations. Skit has thrown light on awareness about plantation and to avoid deforestation. The programme was applauded by the audience and the distinguished guests from NHPC. The week long ceremony was concluded by the speech of Shri Harish Bulchandani, Chief Engineer (C). In his address to the gathering, he said that the aim of these kinds of programmes is to spread the message of communal harmony for the nation. During the week long programme, activities like Community Song, speech on communal harmony, Kavi sammelan, Workshop on awareness of programmes for weaker sections of the society, Group Dance on communal harmony, speech and Essay competition on Importance of Women in Indian Society and Skit on Environment Conservation were organized. The programme was attended by the officers & employees of Dulhasti Power Station and Teachers and students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, DPS. |
