Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 25: Lack of understanding to judge the changing mood of people in valley prompts President of National Conference to extend his hands supporting evil designs of separatists feeling abandoned and denuded in the eyes of kashmiris.
Media reports appearing in section of newspaper quote Dr Farooq Abdullah having said that state government has been rendered defunct with calender of separatists ruling the roast in Kashmir. Not only this, he expects the people of State to support and strengthen National Conference at the grassroots to meet the challenge confronting the State, reads newspaper reports.
Ridiculing the utterances of Dr. Abdullah made in Kishtwar addressing public gathering, Amir Chand Sood dubbed the attitude of NC Chief as totally irresponsible aimed at sprinkling oil to aggravate the ground situation returning fast to normalcy after separatists and their henchmen hit hard due to demonetization of higher value currency in the country.
Terming NC as a party of political opportunism to improve its sagging image in the public, Irshad Mohd said that NC President is supposed to evince political maturity as a public representative of the State instead of fishing in the troubled water by playing blame game ostensibly to keep an eye on political future of his party
His three generations right from late Sheikh Abdullah, Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah headed state government for years but what they have contributed to change political scenario of the State except obliquely patting the disruptive forces out to annihilate the communal harmony, brotherhood and unity of the state dividing people on communal lines.
Rather Dr Abdullah should read writings on the walls given the present mood of the people whose hate level against separatists has gone tremendously high after over four months shutdown and unrest in the valley, said a political analyst.
He added that instead of applauding the shutdown calendar being frantically persisted by agents of Pak sponsored agencies, National Conference and its President as a veteran leader should discourage hostile forces like separatists and support the efforts of the government toiling hard to restore full normalcy in the trouble torn Kashmir for peace and prosperity of people yearning to take up routine activities of life.
Referring to demand of National Conference put forth by its working president Omar Abdullah to initiate dialogue with all stakeholders in "Kashmir", a watcher of state pleading anonymity flayed the immaturity level of its working president who still lacks full nomenclature of the State which comprises of people belonging to Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh and not only Kashmir as he referred to while addressing.
He further added that state of Jammu and Kashmir is an inalienable and integral part of India and any trouble in one part of the state can never be the trouble of other two parts of the state where people are living peacefully together. This has been the tendency of successive kashmiri leaders from time to time to project the trouble of Kashmir province as that of whole state ostensibly designed to blackmail India and Indian successive governments for their vested interests, he added.
Counciling duo Abdullahs to shun the age old policy of exploiting people of state, a group of senior citizens advised them to understand that the state is passing through a very difficult phase and government as well as security forces are collectively tackling anti national elements inimical to its over all development so far got seriously hampered by prolonged restlessness in the valley.
Sunita Kapoor, scholar said that if both father and son are really sincere and dedicated towards the cause of state and its people, National Conference should come forward to wholeheartedly support those who are making painstaking efforts to bring state, especially Kashmir valley back on the track of complete normalcy which is presently is on its way.
This is definitely going to help people who want to heave a sigh of relief and resume their normal work without interruption, she said, adding further that such positive line of action of NC can help incumbent dispensation to further progress on the path of development hitherto hindered due to unrest for months together after July this year.
