DCE celebrates national voters day 1/24/2015 11:19:55 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 24: NSS unit of Dogra College of Education (DCE) today celebrated national voters day during the function a poster making and slogan writing competition also organized in the college premises. According to press release, around 31 NSS volunteers participated and the programme was conducted under the able guidance of Rajni Manhas Programme Officer, NSS Unit of the College. Prof BD Damral Director-cum-Principal, Dogra College of Education in his address emphasised that every year National Voter's Day is observed to commemorate the foundation day of the Election Commission of India and also to enhance the participation of voters, especially the youth in the democratic process. In the Competition Arti Sharma stood first while Nisha Rani and Alka Pathania were declared second and third respectively.
