Mufti set to get full term | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 24: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has apparently agreed to the demand of the PDP to give its patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed full six year term as Chief Minister and use his experience to govern the state. Sources told Early Times that top BJP leaders are of the opinion that Mufti Sayeed is a senior leader and a seasoned politician. "His experience is must to run a sensitive state like Jammu and Kashmir. Mufti is the only politician who can pull out JK from the quagmire it is in as the last six years of NC-Cong misrule have created a chaos in the state and most institutions are lying defunct," sources quoted top BJP leaders as having opined. They said, "BJP-PDP alliance under Mufti's leadership is the only viable option and is bound to succeed." Sources said that BJP leaders in Delhi believe that party's state unit doesn't have any experience in governance. "They can learn from Mufti's experience. They will take this time to learn the tricks of the trade and utilize these in next assembly polls," the BJP leader added. |
