| JKFMHWWA holds meeting | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 24: Jammu and Kashmir Female Multipurpose Health Worker Welfare Association (JKFMHWWA) today held its meeting under the stewardship of its President Babli Sharma and President JKMEF Sushil Sudhan in which all the female multipurpose workers participated from all the districts of Jammu province. In the meeting certain issues were discussed threadbare like the salary of FMPHWs borne on the establishment of 2211-Family Welfare which is still-pending for last about 10 12 months despite repeated requests and reminders to the authorities at the helm of affairs as authorities, according to both the presidents, have failed to release requisite funds with the result of which employees are virtually at the stage of starvation now. They appealed the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir to intervene in to the matter and get the issue settled once for all so that FMPHWs working under scheme of 2211-Family Welfare are able to get salary regularly and on monthly basis. They also requested that the grade of FMPHW be enhanced from 3050-p49l0 (pre-revised) to 4000- 60001 pre revised, the posts of LHVs be created in new PHCs, at least 60% quota of Health Educators be given for promotion to FMPHWs. |
