Abortive bid to break into J&K Bank Locks found broken, cash intact 1/25/2015 12:03:20 AM Early Times Report MENDHAR, Jan 24: An abortive bid was made by some unknown persons to break into the Dargloon branch of J&K Bank near here last night. The locks of the entry door were found broken by the employees this morning after they reached the bank to attend their duties. The matter then brought to the notice of Gursai police station. Soon thereafter, SHO of Gursai police station and a team of FSL, Poonch, reached the bank and examined the spot, according to police sources. Sources said though investigation was at a very initial stage, the cash and other valuables in the bank were felt to be intact. It was a failed attempt of thieves to break into the bank and decamp with cash, the sources added.
