| PK expresses concern over statement of BJP's Gen Secy Organization | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 25 : Panun Kashmir (PK) today called an emergency meeting under its president Vijay Bhat to condemn the statement of BJP's General Secretary Organization that has appeared in an English daily of Kashmir.
The main agenda of the meeting was the illogical and insensitive statement given by the General Secretary (Organisation)of BJP on the religious cleansing and genocide of Pandits and the Visit of US President Barack Obama to India as the state guest on the occasion of Republic Day.
Expressing shock and suspicion over the illogical statement of the General Secretary(Organization) of J &K BJP, Vijay Bhat said, "The statement of the General General secretary (Organization) of state BJP that appeared in the valley based English daily newspaper on 22nd January eulogizing the persecutors of the Kashmiri Pandit community is a matter of serious concern.
As this statement bailing out the majority community of Kashmir from the crime of genocide and holocaust inflicted on the community is a dangerous development. It speaks volumes about the sincerity of the BJP in terms of rehabilitating the KPs in Kashmir. He further said," it seems that BJP has lost track of the socio -political reality in Kashmir and the communal faultlines that inflicted genocide on Kashmiri Pandits for being Hindus and seeds of Indian nation in Kashmir. By this statement it becomes clear that state BJP is guided by the forces who are trivilising the holocaust of KPs.
He said BJP is turning blind eye to the communalism of the radicalized Kashmiri Muslim society of Kashmir that has been made clear through both over ground supporters of separatism and the separatists that the election held under the Indian constitution are for bilji, sadak and paani and not for political solution of Kashmir. |
