| Plus 2 Lecturers' demand adjustment of Leh/Kargil lecturers | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 25 : An emergency meeting of Plus 2Lecturers' Forum was held under the chairmanship of its State president Narinder Singh Jamwal at Central office here today regarding the adjustment of Leh/Kargil lecturers repatriated from Ladakh region
As per press release, members of the Forum said that Incharge lecturers attached at DSE Jammu for further duties, awaiting their orders of adjustment for the last ten months. Forum demanded their adjustment should be on merits and norms, for smooth functioning of the School Education department and for better results and strongly demanded that transfer policy in the School Education department should be rationalized and strictly implemented for streamlining the department.
As the School Education Department is locked in legal litigation, Jamwal appealed to the Secretary Education to take immediately appropriate steps for sorting out legal issues so that the Education department can run properly for the purpose.
He also demanded the immediate redressal of long pending confronting issues such as running grade and regularization of incharge lecturers, Principals, CEO's and Joint Directors lying pending years together and non vacation status to the principals and also urged for the promotion of lectures, Sr Lectures and Principals as the institutions have been running shortage of teaching staff and the Head of the Institutions too. |
