ReT teachers demand pending salary 2/1/2015 11:10:55 PM Early Times Report Udhampur, Feb 1 : All J&K RET Teachers Forum on Sunday held a protest during monthly meeting at Udhampur under the chairmanship of State President Vinod Sharma and District President Lekh Raj Parihar. The protest was attended by a large number of delegates of the Forum from all the 11 Zones of the District. While speaking on the occasion Vinod Sharma lambasted the government for its callous and step motherly treatment towards ReT teachers for resolving their burning issue of salary of regularized ReT teachers under SSA. He said that they have projected this issue before the government many times but still the SSA salary is pending for last 4-10 months which is a matter of great concern.These ReT teachers are facing a lot of problems to meet out their basic family needs and are on the verge of starvation. He further announced that on Feb. 12, 2015 the protest demonstrations will be held at all the district head quarters to press the government for early release off pending SSA salary and memorandums of demands would be submitted to the Governor through respective Deputy Commissioners.
