| NMC appeals PM to regularize 62000 daily wagers of J&K | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 1 : National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) today appealed upon Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to intervene the matter regarding regularization of services of around 62000 daily wagers working in various departments of Jammu and Kashmir Government.
Addressing rally activists here today, the president of NMC Subash Shastri reminded that during the recently held assembly elections in J&K, the BJP had assured that the services of daily wagers workers of would be regularized.
He said that the daily wagers have high hopes that the PM would consider the demand and take favouralbe action soon. Meanwhile, Shastri urged Governor NN Vohra to release two pending installments of 17 per cent DA at the earliest as another installment of 6 per cent DA due from January 2015 has become due, hence an early release of pending installment would further strengthen the hands of the employees and the state government. |
