| Kahkashan cultural organization organize book release function | | | Jammu, Feb 1 : Kahkashan cultural organization in collaboration with Taskeen Group of publication today organized a programme here at press club to release two books of Kewal Krishan Shakir. In a glittering function two books namely "Jammu ke dharmik sthal" and Jammu Darshan were released. Kewal Krishan is an acclaimed writer who has worked on so many books earlier. Shakir is also known for his translation works in highlighting the culture of Dogras in Hindi, Dogri, Urdu and English language. Farooq Nazki, eminent writer presided over the function and appreciated the works of K.K. Shakir and applauded his style of highlighting the Dogra culture. MLA Jammu East Rajesh Gupta was present as the Chief Guest on the occasion who highly praised Shakir for documentation and preservation of the culture of the Dogras.
