YHAI grants licenses to four new hostels | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 1: National Body of Youth Hostels Association of India under the leadership of Mohd. Shafi Pandit, National President YHAI granted licenses to 4 new youth hostels under the LYH scheme. According to press release, these are Youth Hostel Jammu c/o Vinayak Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Ekta Vihar, Kunjwani, Jammu, Youth Hostel Udhampur c/o Hotel Blue Sapphire, National Highway Udhampur City, Youth Hostel Sanasar C/O PY Resorts, Sanasar, Youth Hostel Mantalai C/O Hotel Lakshman, Bust Stand Mantlai ( Udhampur). These Youth Hostels are in addition already existing youth hostels in J&K. On this occasion, Er Padamshree, S P Varma while welcoming the issuing of licenses to Jammu hostels he said that Youth Hostels Association of India is committed to encourage national and international tourists inflow to the lesser known and neglected tourist destinations by the adventure activities organized in state and Licensee Youth Hostels in the state of J&K. He added that providing budget accommodation to wandering youth hostellers of world is the aim of the organization. Youth Hostels Association of India is affiliated to Hostelling International London and has more than 4500 youth hostels and millions of members worldwide. Dr. Taran Singh State Secretary said that Youth Hostels association of India J&K State branch recommended for issuing of licenses to abovementioned youth hostels. He appealed the youth to join the youth hostelling movement and explore the country and travel worldwide. He further added that like previous year association is organizing National Heritage Trek Expedition in Udhampur District from Udhampur to Pancheri-Lander-Sansar-Patnitop-Mantalai-Udhampur w.e.f 1stMay 2015 in which thousands of members of YHAI are expected to participate. |
