Plea to Education Minister of J&K

ing star on the sky of expectations and aspirations of every common state subject of Jammu and Kashmir. It appears as, now the time has come when any thing allied to progress, opulence, precision and accountability is possible. Crammed with these hopes and aspirations, I want to draw the kind attention of our admirable, Education Minister, towards the ways to revolutionized the education sector of our state.
As we all know that, science has categorized homo sapiens as one of the species of Kingdom Animalia, but it is only the sway of education, which has further categorized man as a social animal.
A social animal is a mortal, who is more uplifted in his societal, educational, ethical, economical, conventional and unembellished status, so it is proved that education is as much imperative as our subsistence and ascendancy on the back of this planet. Major part our State is rural and our villages are mushroomed with ample number of government established schools. But even in spite of unrelenting and un tired efforts of our government administration, annual results of these institution , spread distress across the state. Even in spite of possessing competent teaching staff, following are some of the main factors which deprive our proficient staff to make teaching learning a 100% effectual process.
As a matter of verity, apt escalation and maturity of a tree is ensured by the nourishment of its roots. Similar is the case with the big tree of education. But irony to our govt. schools is that, there is no proviso of Nursery classes , as a result of which a poor govt. teacher has to admit a child, with blank mind in first standard. That innocent child in no case is capable to read the book of his class, because that is out of his caliber. On the other hand in the first year, the teacher can make that child to learn only Alphabets of all languages. In the next year similar child is permitted to learn words of similar and different sounds. Here point to note is that in the third year, that child has to face the board exam, as he could read and write only simple sentences at this point of time. With this, encumber of syllabus keeps on escalating, with every passing year, and no one could help him to contend with the running syllabus of his books, as a result of it child lags behind in the chase of competition and fail to fulfill the aspirations of his parents and teachers.
Teacher Parent incompatibility
The succeeding ground level dilemma which the govt. education system has been facing for past many years is, teacher parent incompatibility. As govt. school's students hail from poor section of our society. The underprivileged parents are unable to spare time for their children due to their daily labor, so this negligence on the part of parents develops a fissure amid student and studies.
( Evaluation system) A Government teacher at primary level is liable to prepare a student up to the level of receiving pass marks, but due to the above mention reasons, utmost students are powerless to accomplish the level of merit and may descend in to the George of failure. But a govt. school teacher at primary level is unable to fail a student. He has to mark him pass on the result register.
(1) Here I would like to request to the good self of honorable Minister to eradicate these impediments from the way of development of education standard of govt. school by the institution of Nursery classes. As our govt. has not left any stone unturned, for raising the education level of govt. schools then why not to add one more endeavor in this elevation . Start of Nursery classes(Nursery, LKG, UKG), would be like nourishing the roots of giant tree of education, after ward it is my premeditated assessment, that the tree of education would breed by its own.
(2) In order to make parent teacher relation companionable, CRP, ZRP and serpanch of the area concerned should campaign to sentient the people about the magnitude of parent's supervision in teaching learning progression. This practice could be once in a month.
(3) A govt. teacher should be quite sovereign to stop a child in the similar class, if he fail to get pass marks in annual exams. This would build some how fear in the mind of students, regarding their studies. Because powerlessness of a teacher to fail a student, supplementary insulate a student's mind from the fear of failure and disgrace.In the conclusion I would like to say that, as the yield of a crop depends upon the proper nourishing manuring and watering of the roots of the crop, mere embellishment of leaves and flowers, never adds to the augmentation of plant. Likewise our gigantic education sector is deprived of its vigorous roots, so how could we anticipate that the tree would fruit appropriately .After going through the severity of circumstances, our praiseworthy Minister should revolutionize our edification quarter, by blessing the education sector with the above requirements. Other wise pushing the students from one rank to other would fabricate nothing but craft disarray.
