Kathua, Mar 14 : NABARD today organized BLBC SHG exposure and interaction programme in Dayalachak, wherein bankers were sensitized on the role and functioning of self help group. Participants in the meeting were Shareesh Sharma, Cluster Head, J&K Bank, Kathua, Ravinder Jalali, Lead District Manager, Daleep Singh, Chief Manager, J&K Bank, Aman Kalsotra, DDM, NABARD, Kathua, Sansar Chand, FLCC coordinator, Racchpal Singh, Chief Manager, SBI Hiranagar Branch, officers of banks and group leaders of SHG. On this occassion, Aman Kalsotra, DDM, NABARD, Kathua informed about the books maintained by SHG groups, rules of SHG, role of group leaders and book-keeping of SHG. He informed latest NABARD instructions under SHG and informed that SHG can be provided CC limits by the banks. Shareesh Sharma, Cluster Head, J&K Bank interacted with the bankers and SHG members. He informed them about the activities being taken up by the other SHG groups in places like Hyderabad, where the groups are running for more than 15 years. He impressed upon the SHG members to come forward and avail credit benefits from banks and establish income generating units. He promised that those SHG members who want to take up economic activity and are interested in availing loan, will be provided credit facility from J&K Bank. Nirmal Devi, Animator, GHK and Ravinder Jalali, LDM, Kathua also spoke on the occasion. Later certificates of participation and appreciation were distributed to all the participants and lst. 2nd and 3rd prizes were awarded to the participants for best display and sale of their products. |
