Residents of Mawa village hold protest against PHE, PDD 3/14/2015 11:55:10 PM SAMBA, Mar 14 : The peoples of the Mawa village of Samba district held a strong protest demonstration against the Power Development Department (PDD) and Public Health Engineering Department (PHE) for non-availability of power and drinking water in the village for last 15 days. The protesters blocked the Samba -Mawa road for one hour. They alleged that PHE and PDD has failed to concede their demand of supplying the drinking water and electric crisis in the area as water supply has remained suspended for a last 15 days Said, Goshi Devi a Local resident of village Mawa. The protesters raised slogans against the senior officers of PDD and PHE for making tall promises to the public when the ground reality regarding their service is empathic.
