J&K Police organizes T-20 Cricket tourney 3/15/2015 12:44:54 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 14: In an effort to bridge the gap between Police and the public, a T-20 Cricket tournament is being organized in Bana Singh Stadium, RS Pura by J&K Police, District Jammu under the aegis of Civic Action Programme (CAP). The cricket tournament is being organized in order to provide a platform to the youths of the area to show their sporting talents, hone their talent in different capacities as well as sensitize them against the evil effects of the drugs and other criminal activities. Earlier in the match, Badyal Brahmna Cricket Club scored 124 runs against Elite Cricket Club, which managed to score only 59 runs and lost the match by 55 runs. Amar from Badyal Brahmana Cricket Club was adjudged Man of the Match for scoring 34 runs. In another match, Harsa Dabbar Cricket Club thrashed Kissan Cricket Club convincingly by 97 runs. Sahil from Harsa Dabbar Cricket Club was adjudged Man of the Match for his knock of 55 runs. The CAP activities are undertaken under the supervision of SP Hqrs Jammu Randheer Singh.
