Jammu, Apr 8: Leader of Kashmiri Pandit Conference, Kundan Kashmiri today condemned the condemned statement of Separatist leader Yaseen Malik, National conference leader Ali Mohammed Sagar and others for opposing the kashmiri pandits consolidated rehabilitation in the valley. According to press release, Kundan said that it was fundamental and constitutional right of Kashmiri to live anywhere and in any part of J&K state where they (KP,s) wish to live together as a community and true citizen of Indian nation . At the same time he also rejected the proposed move of settling Displaced KP,s in townships in Kashmir valley and termed it as a futile exercise of the govt. as this manipulated idea has already been rejected by the KP,s in general and KPC in particular. He said that return of KP,s is only possible to rehabilitate them (KP,s) at one consolidated place in the valley under the ambit of indian constitution and abrogation of Article 370 is pre- condition for their return to" Kashyap Bhoomi" in the Kashmiri valley. He said KPC is firm to fight for this cause with full resistance and might till to achieve our goal, because it is in the interest of the Nation as well as Kashmiri Pandit Community, which could only preserve the uniqueness, culture and heritage of the community. KPC Chief Kundan Kashmiri also vehemently criticised and condemned Govt,s soft attitude towards separatists in the state by providing them comprehensive security cover and other VVIP treatment which involves huge amount of indian tax payers and demanded that all the privileges in particular security cover is withdrawn from them as earliest as possible. He also demanded that rehabilitation policy and red carpet treatment for surrendered militants to be withdrawn at the earliest possible who are in receipt of rupees two thousand per month as well as in receipt of rupees 1.50 lakh in form of FDR, for which KPC has communicated its resentment to Prime Minister , Home minister and Governor of J&K in this regard. |
