Bhaderwah, Apr 8: Municipal Committee (MC) Bhaderwah distributed cheques among over 48 BPL families here today under IHSDP for construction of bath rooms. In a function organized by the Municipal Committee, Bhaderwah Brig Bhushan Gupta, Incharge SDM Bhaderwah Bashir Ul Hussan distributed total sum of Rs.5.70 lakh among the 48 beneficiaries in presence of the EO Municipal Committee, citizens and officers.Under the central government's sponsored scheme, IHSDP each beneficiary is given an non-returnable amount of Rs.7500 for the construction of their bath rooms for first installment. MCB distributed Rs. 3 Lakh on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, EO MCB Brig Bhushan Gupta advised the beneficiaries of IHSDP to utilize the money judiciously so that second installment will be released after verification. |
