Dabgotra urges Central Govt to bear on Cow slaughtering across country | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 8: Dabgotra's Charitable Trust on Martyr day of Mangal Panday demanded to the Union Government to ban on Cow Slaughter all over India and also to delete all that Laws which were made by the Britishers. According to press release, Mangal Panday in a Parade of Army men on 28 March 1857 in Barakpur Cantt. asked Major General Huesen that is it right that Britishers are using Cow fat in Cartridges? The major didn't reply at all. Panday got angry and fire at the Major. This was the first real initiative taken by an Indian against the British Government. The use of Cow and Pig Fat in the cartridges by the Britishers was deliberately to provoke the sentiments of Indian people. While, Dabgotra's Charitable Trust paid tribute to the Mangal Panday and decided to dedicate this week to aware people about the unsung hero of Indian History and every year and will organize the event to aware people about the Freedom Fighters. Chairman Som Nath Dabgotra said that now we demand that there should be immediate ban on Cow Slaughter in allover India and also all the laws created by the British Government which are still continuous. |
