Jammu, Apr 8: National State Government Employees Federation (NSGEF) Jammu Kashmir staged protest demonstration in favour of their long pending demands in front of Raj Bhawan Jammu. Addressing the gathering, general secretary Subash Verma said similar protests are being organized in all the capitals throughout India to invite the attention of Prime Minister towards the long pending demands of the States and Central Government Employees. He further said that all the demands of the employees are genuine and the struggle of the employees will remain continue till the redressal. He further criticized the wrong policies of the Central Government, for scrapping the labour laws and rights of Trade Unions as given in preview of Trade Union Act 1926. He demanded restoration of all the rights and the labour laws in the interest of employees/ workers community. He further demanded equality in salary and wages of state and central government employees. Among other who were present during the protest included Suman Sharma, Rattan Doshi, Ram Lobhya, Chuni Lai, Vijay Chandel, Maheshwar Sharma, Suraj Parkash, Varun Dogra, Manzoor All, Kulbushan Nanda, Romesh Chander, Ram Parkash, Ashok Kumar, Lai Chand, Raju Jamwal, Himat Kumar Sharma and others. |
