Selection trials of PPCPL start today 4/8/2015 11:18:34 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 8:Shakeel Beig DIG Jammu and the General Secretary of the Mega Cricket event announced that the selection trials of the forthcoming "Police Public Cricket Premier League for J&K Cricketers" shall be started at different places with the objective to involve the unnoticed talent of the far-flung areas and provide them a mega platform to show their talent. According to press release, the selected players from the trials will be placed for auction and they will be included in the participating teams of the PPCPL. He further said that the criteria fixed for the selection of the players intimated to all selectors. And most of the selectors are former Ranji Players and Selectors of JKCA and the selection committee also includes one Dy SP of the concerned district. The dates and venues of the trials are : Trials at Bhaderwah College Ground shall be conducted on 9 April and timing of the trials shall be between 12 to 3 pm. The Selection Committee for this trials includes Smeer Malik, Shafkat Baba and Dy.S.P. So Interested cricketers from Doda,kishtwar and Bhaderwah are directed to report before the selection committee at 11 am fro registration. Trials at Police Training College Udhampur shall be conducted on 9 April and timing of the trials will be 12 to 3 pm. Trials at Rajouri DPL Ground on 10 April and the timing of the trials shall be held from 10 am to 1.30 pm. Trials at Kathua Cricket Stadium on April 11 and the timing of the trials shall be 9.00 am to 1 pm.
