One day free treatment cum infertility camp held 4/17/2015 11:34:12 PM Early Times Report SAMBA, Apr 17: Department of Animal Husbandry, Samba organized one day Free Treatment cum Infertility Camp at Village Mawa Block Ghagwal here today in which more than 60 animals suffering from various disease conditions and other infertility problems were given treatment on the spot. Besides, various medicines such as De wormers, Mineral Supplements and other supportive drugs were also distributed among the farmers. It was further informed by the Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Dr. D.B.Singh that the basic motive of holding the camp was to treat those animals which are suffering from any ailment/diseases and those large animals i.e cows/buffaloes which are unproductive owing to infertility, arising out of various etiologies. The farmers were also made aware of do's and don't for various diseases and acquainted them with the advantages of healthy rearing of the livestock with special emphasis on hygiene maintenance so as to avoid the diseases caused by unhygienic/unhealthy conditions.
